Hi all,
I have looked elsewhere online to see if I can use third party SIP phones to tie into the Cisco CME 4.1 app based PBX and I followed a string of IOS commands and now I got some problems.
the SIP phone can call into the CME and ring my Skinny 7940. I pick up the handset, I hear nothing and the SIP can't hear from the 7940. I can't however call to the SIP phone from the Skinny.
I had this same exact problem doing this on an actual CUCM PBX, so I wonder if it's the phones or the system is way too old to handle third party sets natively. The phones are Mitel 5224s using the SIP software.
Any help would be appreciated!
