Very new to SIP trunking so bear with me please. I'm having issues with incoming calls to SIP trunks with a 3300 running MCD 4.2 and MBG 6.1 as the SIP trunk proxy.
Outgoing calls seem to all be working with no issues.
Incoming calls ring in but last exactly 32 seconds every time and then disconnect. I've been working with the SIP provider and they have determined when the 3300 is sending its 200 response, its private IP address is in the contact header instead of the MBG public IP. The provider is then sending its ACK to the private address which is obviously no good. When the 3300 doesn't receive the ACK it sends another 200 request, still no ACK, then disconnects the call.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but would this not be an issues with the MBG rather than the 3300? If so, is there options on the MBG that I'm missing to overwrite the contact header with the public IP of the MBG?
Any info/thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.
