Sintax creating Date Prompt fields

I'm new to BO and have to create a report that allows the user to select a date range for ApplicationDate, so the result set are all records with ApplcationDate within that Date range, but I can't get the syntax.

Hopefully somebody can help me out or lead me to the answer.

Create 2 prompts (see guides on syntax) and use ' between' operator in query panel..
