Hi
Sorry for my bad english.
We have software that is made in Clarion and use an top speed base. That software is on our local server and that server is not an web server.
The idea is to connect that software with web aplication, bat changes need to be sinhronized in real time. Web app is built in ASP/.Net solution and with SQL base.
Other programers told me that I need to have SQL server local instaled. But problem is How to sinhronize that local SQL with TPS which is file base. We cant do anithing with softweare, becouse that is not our softweare, we can only wacht TPS and whan is changed that change bring in SQL server, but in real time.
If anyone can help us, please tel us how we can connect SQL server and TPS base in real time.
Thnks

Hi,

Softvelocity sell a ODBC driver for Topspeed files which can be used in a DTS task/Stored Proc from the SQL Server to access the TPS files and update the SQL Server or vice-versa.

It is still a better idea to contact the supplier of the Topspeed based application for help in this regard.

Regards

Can you tell me what is the name of that driver? Is that clasic ODBC driver version 5? I have found only that driver with SQL capability...
