Hi all,

I am new to SMS, please forgive what may be a dumb question.

I have a W2K AD domain with 10 sites. All sites except the HQ site are very small < 10 users, but each has its own DC.

I have deployed a single SMS2003 server at the HQ site and this has deployed the advanced client to all local machines. Working beautifully. However, the advanced client will not deploy to any machine at a remote site.

Can anyone suggest how I may achieve the ambition of a single SMS server and multiple sites?

Thanks

Martyn

Hi all,

I have just worked it out. Add the subnets into teh properties of the site.

Thanks for reading this anyway

Another option is to use each AD site as a site boundary and ignore subnets all together. Most of the examples show both, but there is no need for both unless you want to split things off more than just the AD site.
