Hi,

We want to know if it is possible to implement server applications as follows:
Deploying Host OS Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V Role(Guest OS Windows Server 2008 R2) and install One-X Portal in the Host machine and the other applications (CCR, Voicemail Pro and Contact Store) in the Virtual Machine.

1. Requirements =
Voicemail Pro 40 ports (30 used for recording)
CCR 30 Agents.
One-X Portal 30 Sessions.

2. Hardware =
Dell PowerEdge R620
Intel® Xeon® E5-2609 2.40GHz, Quad Core.
16GB RAM
Broadcom 5720 QP Gb Network Daughter Card (4 ports)
500GB Hard Disk

Thanks.

Thanks.

I would rnu VMPro and One-X Portal on a Linux machine.
You can run it on a virtual machine and saves you a server 2008 license.
Also One-X Portal is much more stable on Linux.
But if i where you then i would get:

1 a much better spec server if you really want to run CCR
2 Use Xima and this server.

Xima requires less specs and does not need a windows server.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

+1 for VM Pro & One X on the application server (as virtual machine if req.)

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I would consider a separate call record for 30 channels. probly cheaper (if you only have 1 PRI) and will usually give the customer a 2nd reporting option.
