I could use a little help. I've been researching the options for backing up every message to a single mailbox, but am coming up dry. Here's the "problem": we have a critical mailbox in which voice messages are placed covering a rolling six hour window. The person who listens to the voicemails records the information in our system, and deletes the voicemail. The user who listens to the voicemail has a recorded line, so when issues arise as to the content of the voicemail (he said, she said stuff) it is a lengthy matter of determining when the user listened to the voicemail, pulling the recording from our voice recording system, and playing it back.
We are looking for a simpler solution. Is there some way to backup or forward a voicemail (by forwarding I mean the header information must remain intact) to a shared drive or tape? The user who listens to the message must delete the message once heard in order to avoid confusion with others on the team, so asking them to not delete messages for a 24 hour interval is not an option.
Any ideas out there?

Thank you,
Mark

Do you have desktop licenses? If so, that would seem to be the easiest solution: have them copy and drop into a shared network folder.

If not, I'm not sure. Could you set up a mailbox for each day of the week (maybe breaking them into time increments)?

I've never tried before, so just throwing some ideas your way . . .

Good luck.
