I have a client that would like to have all of the extension go to a single mailbox. Is this possible? They have a Merlin Magix switch with Merlin messaging.

Just a shot in the dark as I have never tried it, but logically I think this should work. Have all extensions in a cover group. Have that cover group assigned to a calling group that immediately overflows to the vmail calling group. Create 1 mailbox with the same number as the first calling group. You would need to test this, as I don't know if the integration to vmail would in fact be the 1st calling group extension or the original extension number.

Maybe you could assign each extension as an autoattendant class of service in the voice mail and record a short greeting of silence for that AA. Make the time out option goto the mailbox you want.

Do they have POTS lines or a PRI/T1? If POTS lines, just give principal ownership of each line to x100 (or whichever mailbox) and all calls will be owned by that extension and cover to that mailbox.
