I have a client with about 50 single line extensions for outbound calling. I recently converted their trunks ffrom 54 centrex lines across 3 T1's to 2 PRI's. All the trunks were and still are in a main pool for outgoing calls. Now 6 extensions are able to make intercom calls but can't make outbound. They are unrestricted. I tried copying working extensions, resetting the card and ports, nothing seems to work. Also the automated attendant does not pick up anymore. The AA uses a overflow extension covering the main pool. I am stumped why the centrex versus the PRI would cause this problem. All lines/channels are assigned to the same pool as before.

OUTDIAL - My first thought would be that the system was set to include an extra 9 when dialing out with Centrex.

Voice Mail - I dunno.... Perhaps a PRINT ALL would help figure something out.

Yes, the centrex was set for an extra 9. That is what hosed up my first attempt at cutover. What does not make sense is that only 6 of the 50+ single line extensions won't pick an outgoing trunk from the pool. I am going to do a print all to see if there is something buried in the muck.

Print all, even though it's time consuming, is my SECRET Weapon in such battles as this!

Check the ars restrictions for the tables and also for the sets.

That was it Ken! ARS for those stations were set to 0. Don't know how that happened! Also Ken, I think you were the one I called about the PRI issue with no outgoing, turns out did not realize I was pulsing an extra 9 from the centrex setup. Doah!!
