Is it possible on a PIX 515 to establish a static map between a multiple internal IP's to a single external IP? This is allow reverse dns lookup on outbound smtp mail

case in point (exchange cluster)

node 1 172.16.xx.1 => 12.xx.xx.xx.123
node 2 172.16.xx.2 => 12.xx.xx.xx.123

external mx = 12.xx.xx.xx.123

Thanks in advance.

Just a suggestion, by why not NAT the cluster behind the global address like any other host and then send any inbound traffic on port 25 to the cluster IP address?

But more important, what reverse DNS lookup are you trying to allow on outbound email? If you're getting emails kicked back because reverse lookup failed, just add a in-addr.arpa record manually, or assign a PTR record from the forward lookup alias record. If your DNS is hosted, have your provider do it. Either way, assign the reverse zone entry to the same IP as your MX record. Reverse lookups are about DNS records, not actual server IP addresses.
