hi,

is there a way or is it possible to perform a single file backup from celerra using ndmp?

thanks,

I think so ... although i have never done it myself.
Just specify the absolute pathname for the file in the save set field.

Hi,
I've done it a lot of times. If you're using "directed recover" - just select the file to recover. If you're using "save set recover" you'll have the specify the file after selecting the appropriate saveset to recover -> "files" buttom on (the right)and specift the exact file including full path (like: /vol1/folder2/file3.txt). Please be aware that it's ket sensitive.
I hope it'll work for you.
BTW - I use networker 7.2 client.

Ooppsss - I've wrote the single file recovery - for backup - 605 is right.
