We have a PRI that presents 4 digits to the IPO. The extensions are a matching 4 digits in length. Would it be prudent and is it possible to use a single entry in Incoming Routes as opposed to individual ones?

If so, what is the syntax?

Drew

It's Incoming number xxxx destination # and that's it as long as you definately only recieve 4 digits.

I thought I read something about a period (.)

But, the above is the correct syntax?

ICR
LineID = your incoming lineID
DDI = 123456XXX
Destination = #

The XXX is copied to the destination

You can have individual numbers pointing to another destination like

DDI = 123456700
Destination = Group 200

The full number takes precedense ove the XXX number.

The first choice for projecting outbound caller id is the users incoming call route and the Manager program will auto-config all of the routes for you so you may want to consider that option.
In Manager go to "Toolos-MSN Configuration

Thanks all. We'll give it a try...
