I am trying to send a plain text BCC email with a word attachment to 200 addresses.

I am using Outlook 2000 in IMO mode and connect to our ISP through a leased line, there is no problem when sending email in small groups but it seems to get to a certain size and problems occur - it seems that if one of the email addresses is bad then it stops delivery to all?

does anyone have any experience of this?

does anyone no of a good workaround?

Thanks for any help

Graham

Have you tried putting the 200 address in the CC or TO field? I know Hotmail has a 25 address limit from one address. Are you getting any type of error message?

...or ask your ISP if they block messages like that. Mike Wills

I need to send BCC - I am sure that our isp does not block this, I think it is a Outlook problem ???

I would double check, with all the anti-spam policies, they might have something like this set up. That would be my first step.

Otherwise I would send it to 1/2 of them, then the other 1/2 in a seperate email. Mike Wills
