I have setup on a 3300ICP rls 8.0.11.7 some single digit
mailboxes that are to go to an enternal 800 number.

This is how it is programmed:

Mailbox 4 has in the extension field 8889 which is a speed call to 18007442140.

Mailbox 5 has in the extension field 8589 which is a speed call to 18008042994.

When I select those single digit mb aa say you are being transfered to internet support or mobile, however aa comes back says internet support is currently on the phone.

If I set the speed call to route to an internal extension the call goes to that extension.

Just thinking out loud here but have you tried another non-voicemail extension to make sure that the speedcall to the external number works? If it does, then check the COS/COR of the non-voicemail and voicemail extensions for differences.

It sounds like it's a COS/COR issue as the AA says it's on the phone, which would imply that it received a busy tone (however it may just not have received dial tone, it may not differentiate between the two failures). Maybe looking at how fast AA comes back with the reply could give you a hint as to which one. I'm wondering here if there is a timer on the AA that is shorter than that on the trunk.

The voicemail is probably receiving re-order tone as it is unable to transfer externally. Make sure Public to Public trunk is enabled in the COS of the voicemail and enable the Toll override for the speedcall.

trace

Above trace taken call is going out on a trunk but you are not getting connected all the time to the call center.

Did some checks on DMS 100 and saw call connecting to other end.Calls comes back after a certain amount of rings.

Is everything ok if the call is answered?

Have you tried extending te recall time of the trunk/vm
