Dear Colleages,

May you assist me with the following
1.I want a situation whereby if I do long press digit 1----> it dials Voice Mail pilot number 494.
I have checked in the manuals and it appears that the single digits are predefined in the system.

2. Is there a way of adding the number of room status dialing.
At the moment I am only able to dial upto 3 codes.
The clients wants at least 5

Thanking you in advance.

Dear Colleagues,

Regarding room status,
I want maid dialing
eg
1---->vacant clean
2---->Dirty occupied
3---->Clean occupied
4---->inspected
5---->pickup

I am only able to dial 1-3 at the moment.
Is there any option I need to change to get to 5?

Rgds

Straight from the F&S manual. Note: R8 or higher required on the 8300 and not through front desk.
Service Conditions on Dial number for Maid Status code
1. This feature is available from 8300R8 software.
2. As a Dial number to register the condition of a guest room by maid, one digit number (0-9,* #) can be specified
for each Maid Status code. (One number for one Maid Status code)
3. This feature is not available from Hotel/Motel Front Desk Instrument. Dialed numbers are fixed to Status
code (1 to 5).
4. When using the desired number, not the actually dialed number but Maid Status code (1-5) is printed in the
history.
5. When using the desired number, not the actually dialed number but Maid Status code (1-5) is sent to the
PMS.
■ Service Conditions on PMS
1. The Maid Status codes that can be sent to the PMS are as follows. To enable the Maid Status codes, the PMS
application that supports these codes is required.
Depending on the Room Status, the Maid Status code that can be entered differs. The Cleaning Status will
change depending on Room Status and Maid Status code, as follows.
2. When operating from a guest room station, the user can add a maid ID (fixed to two-digit format that consists
of 0-9, *, and # ), uniquely assigned to each maid, to the notification to the PMS. However, this ID
cannot be verified from the guest room station or Hotel/Motel Front Desk Instrument.
3. When the communications with the PMS are disconnected, reorder tone is heard and setting is not allowed.
No. Meaning
1 Cleaning Start
2 Cleaning END
3 Inspection END
4* Out of Service
5* Back in Service
*This code is available from 8300R8 software.
