I have a single blackberry user who is getting his company e-mail forwarded from outlook to his blackberry e-mail address (whatever@vzw.blackberry.net) This is working good but he is complaining about not being able to reply to the e-mail sender. The From line becomes the forwarder when an e-mail is forwarded. He has to go into the e-mail and get the original sender address and start a new e-mail to reply.

Without using POP3 or Enterprise server are there any other ways to get my user's e-mail from our servers to his blackberry? Can I have sendmail relay his e-mail to another e-mail address without changing the From and To?

Any help would be appreciated!

Why not get the express edition of the BES software. It includes a single CAL and it's all free.

I think the BES solution will only work if you're using Exchange, Notes or Groupwise.

I'm pretty sure sendmail can relay the email to the new address and only add items in the header (ie not change the MIME from and reply addresses. We used to do it.

I can't remember how... so, maybe ask in a forum for Sendmail?
