Is there a way to ring several stations at once with a main pilot number? I recall this was a big issue when I was with Siemens and we replaced a 9005 with a 9006. The workaround was barely a solution. I just reviewed the manuals again and don't see anything to accomplish that. Maybe I'm missing something, Rolm had the Security Group and Avaya the Answer Group.

You can have an appearance of the pilot number on multiple stations if you use multi-line phones. If the pilot number is a digital phone or phantom it can appear as a line appearance and if it's analog it has to be on a DSS key - unless of course all the phones are analog, in which case you just hook multiple phones to the same port.

Of course if the system is a Hicom 150 that is a whole different kettle of worms....

I was trying to ring a Rolmphone and an analog simultaneously, which the good old 9005 could do with a Security group. And yes, Ive set up the 3000 or 150 to ring analogs and Optisets simultaneously. I think it's yet another limitation of the 9006.

If the analog phone is the prime line (the one that's called normally) you can make a DSS appearance on the RP, but no way to make a prime line on an RP ring on an analog phone (that I ever figured out). 9006 doesn't have call groups, which is kind of annoying....
