Okay, I hope I amm not repeating a question. I have searched and the given answers did not help me so far. I have Procomm 4.8, and am trying to login into several (5) pieces of equipment. I can get the directory to open the windo I want, but the next window does not open until the current one is closed. I have tried to use a batch file I created, I have tried the run command, and also an aspect script with the batch files embedded in them. What am I doing wrong?

For the most part, if you use batch files you will be limited to one connection at a time as the batch file only executes serially. If you are using the run command, then you could have a "master" script that issues multiple run commands to launch the several windows you need. I have a couple sample scripts on my site that show how to do this, and then use DDE to command the second instance to run a script (in your case, you would wants this script to dial the required Connection Directory entry). You can find it by going to and searching for "Here is one final example illustrating DDE operations".
