I want to play several midi files at the same time from a web page. Does anyone know if this is possible, I have the feeling that it is not, as I cannot get it to work an either of my computers. I have tried using several inline frames with bgsound but that doesn't work.

However, if anyone knows anything about this subject or any sort of workaround I would be grateful for the response.

You may wonder why I wish to play several midi files at once, all I will say is that it is an "arty" project I am involved in.

did u try the embed tag?
why not flash???

embed doesn't work either.

Looked at flash, although I do not know much about it, and it appears you cannot import a midi file.

then it might mean the midi might not be a format supported on the web...

It is supported in the sense that one midi file can be played no problem, it is just trying to play more than one at the same time. It will play one then pass over to another once one has finished, assuming that the first one is shorter than another.
