I have a project that is simply 18 pictures of a product in a movie clip with each picture taking up 2 frames. So the product is constantly spinning. The mc is placed on the time line and the user has vcr controls to stop play etc.

What I would like to do is give more control to the user so I was thinking of using a slider that would allow the to grab the slider bar and move it at their pace.

1.) What is the best way to do this?
2.) Also can the slider be used in conjunction with the vcr controls or is it one or the other?

3.) Lastly can the mc be setup so that the user can put their mouse over it and by moving the mouse left or right it causes the mc to turn in those directions?

There is an example here

Click on 360.

thanks for the help

Here's a .swf player with a drag bar, that can be use to either play your movie clip or an external .swf of it.

And yes, you could as your posted link, also control the spinning of it while clicking and draging on the spinning object itself.
