Hi ALL

I want to remove a disk on a 6 diskpack. What is the command which will turn the disk LED off so i know which disk to remove.

I have used this before but cannot for the life of me remember the command. I thaught it was umount, but this does not seem to do the trick.

Pls can anyone provide command!!

Thanks in Advance

SY

I don't know how to do that, but if the disks are idle you could generate some I/O by doing a dd if=/dev/rdsk/cntndns2 of=/dev/null off the device and see which one gets busy.

On a six disk pack aren't the target IDs printed by each disk like the twelve disk packs? Annihilannic.
