simple questions from new user

How do you share data from a flash object with a javascript? And how do you make text fade in/out from one color to another? And I would like to make an image that reflects a light source as it pans across it sort of metallic-like?

2 - Convert to symbol and use tint effect.

3 - Use a "what's it called?" reflection point
- colored gradient - and motion tween it over the image.
