Hi

I am new to SQL Server and have a simple question about connecting to it. I have it installed on a server and want to access it from my workstation. What is the best way to do this?

Currently, from my workstation, I am just using Remote Desktop to log on to the server and from here get access to SSMS. I wonder if this is the best way of connecting or if there is another?

Thanks

A

You can install SSMS on your local workstation. When you run SSMS, you then log in to a database that is on the server.
