Simple question about implementing SP1 to arcserve..

Hi..

I have been ordered to install sp1 to our companys arcserve, and i was wondering, do i need to stop all engines (job,db,tape), before trying to install patch?

It is not neccessary but personally I prefer to stop the services before applying the patch.
When you already use version 11.1 do NOT use preinstall.exe go straight to the service pack itself.
