I've googled my fingers into oblivion and I couldn't find a simple source code manager that is PHP-based. I know about CVS and SVN (I know they're not written in PHP) but I can't seem to figure it out how to configure my clients. I'm registered with SourceForge. Before you refer me to SF's documentation on how to setup a client, I'll tell you now that I don't understand the docs. They provided mostly configuration settings in a format that is not accept by any of their recommended clients. I don't know where to break the arguments apart so they can be placed in their individual fields either.

In one attempt to use such a client with Google's SVN SCM, I lost my project. All of it. It was user error but that was because I did not know what I was doing. Thank God for backups.

Any pointers?

Buy a book on SVN. I typed in SVN into Amazon and found 2 useful results.

Cheers,

Make sure your web page and css validates properly against the doctype you have chosen - before you attempt to debug a problem!
