simple method of automating data sharing between distant offices

Hi All;

Please excuse me if I'm in the wrong place. The internet has finally reached my office. So I'm looking for the simpliest way to have the office machinery send a dbf file automatically at days end to my home and reverse this in the morning. I'm sure there is probably good software that already does this. Suggestions are needed.
