Hi,

I am looking for an example of a simple function with a ref cursor that returns something, then how i can call this and just this in a query.

Any pointers or ideas.

COuld be something against the scott schema.

Thanks.

Born,

From your reading, what have you tried so far? Your question is pretty general, so if you can post your perceptions of how a refcursor works via a piece of sample PL/SQL code, that would be more meaningful, I believe.

In other words, you assert some code, and we'll be glad to build on/enhance/correct what you post.
