Is there a quick way, without using VBA to Find a replace text between double quotes

I need the text between the quotes to be italics and I need to remove the quotes. Thanks in advance.

Hi jmeckley,

This is the VBA forum, but here is a non-VBA solution. Assuming you are in Word, using the Replace dialogue:

In the Find What box enter (")(*)(")
Check the Use Wildcards box
In the Replace With box enter \2
With the cursor in the Replace With box, Click on Format, Select Font, then under Font Style select Italic

Then away you go. One thing to watch out for is smart quotes in Word - be sure you are searching for the type you have ("" or “”).

Enjoy,
Tony
