Simple File Sharing will not stay un-checked

I have one computer on my domain that will not let me permanently remove the check in the box for "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)". I can un-check it but when I log back in as that same power user, the box is checked again. If I log in with administrative rights, the box will remain un-checked as that user. Only having the problem with the power user.

Any thoughts?

What if that user logs in at another machine? If sharing is enabled at another machine, look o edit his log on policies on the domain.

If not then look at his local profile at the PC where this is happening.

My understanding is that Simplied Sharing becomes invalid as soon as you join a domain (like you said you were part of)
Putting and taking the check away will not change any settings

I agree with teckystuff's opinion but the tech I am dealing with at Shavlik insists this check box be un-checked. Anyway, the former user of the computer exhibiting this behaviour had a bunch of junk installed. After removing it all, the check box will now remain un-checked.
