Simple drawing/sketching tool compatible with VB...

I'm supporting an application developed in VB6. Users now want to add capability to do simple drawing (i.e. a few simle shapes, lines, text) and then save that drawing in a common file type (.bmp, .jpeg, etc.). Cost is an issue (many users), so I was wondering if anyone knows of any VB plug-ins or OpenSource that might accomplish this? Just a basic drawing/sketching tool is needed.
