I might be in the wrong place, but I'm hoping someone can guide me to the right place.

I have a Linksys WRT54GS router set up for my cable internet. It works great for all of my wireless laptop and 2 wireless desktops.

Now I'm trying to connect 1 more desktop to it. The difference: I'm trying to connect it WITHOUT using a wireless card. I have a network cable plugged from the back of the computer to slot #2 on the router.

I can't seem to setup the XP box to connect to the internet. As I know nothing about networking, I need a step-by-step guide for setting up an internet connection. The Windows wizards aren't doing it; and I have 'automatically obtain IP address' checked.

Any help/resources would be greatly appreciated. Linksys' site says just to plug it in and you're connected; this is not the case!

Thanks in advance,
Jason
