Simple command

Hi,

Is there a command available in SCO that is similar to the cfgmgr in AIX?

The command scans the machine for connected devices, it has been useful in the past when modems go off-line, after running this command the modem becomes available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why not just enable your com port?

enable tty1a

mkdev serial might help... i don't use it myself though.

what exactly is the problem though....
can't dial in or can't dial out...
