Our company sends a generic DID when we make outbound calls. I am new to administering the Mitel 3300. What would I need to change to send my DID when I make an outbound call instead of the generic CLID number. Can this be done on a phone by phone basis? Thanks!

Simple answer

First, your Telco needs to allow Caller ID to be sent from the PBX
Second you need to set up the DID ranges for CPN Substitution
e.g. 1000-1099 201444xxxx
Third you need to activate the DID range in the CPN substitution form

Yes, Associated DN also works as long as the Telco allows.

If you have a lot of entires, the DID range is simpler.
