Hi, I inherited some customized access reports and one of the sub-sub reports is not doing the math right, I am stumped. The calculation is =[QuantityActual]*[Cost] and the formats for all 3 fields is Fixed, 2 decimal places. It came up with the following:
qty cost Calculation
.13 7.51 .94 (should be .98)
.25 7.51 1.88
.38 18.97 7.11 (should be 7.21)
.50 19.08 9.54
This seems too far off to be a rounding error or formatting thing, any ideas would be appreciated!

You say that the format of the fields is two decimals, but what is the content? Could it be, for example:
.376*18.906

Thanks Remou! you were right, the ones that were off were 3 decimal places in the original data and got rounded up by the time they made it to the report calc..such a basic thing to overlook (too many trees blocking my view of the forest!!).
