Simple Button Problems

I have built a simple button. UP-show a Thumbnail image; OVER displays a filled rectangle with text over the image (each item in its own layer) DOWN same as OVER but change the text color HIT just a rectangle.

HIT layer is the top layer and used because some of the text boxes on OVER are larger than the Thumbnail so I didn't want over-lapping HIT areas.

My problem is that the OVER event is flaking out. If I position the cursor over the textbox but in the HIT area the OVER event seems to work fine, but if I position the cursor in the center (where the text displays) the cursor turns to a Text Insert icon and the OVER event does not show the textbox. The effect I get, and don't want is flashing OVER events. Any Help would be appreciated.

I figured it out - I was using Dynamic Text instead of Static.

Or you could of disabled the Selectable tab (Ab) with dynamic text, and get rid of the I cursor that way.
