Hi all,
Long time reader, but only just joined as I've got a question which is turning me grey...
We've got Simphony v2.7MR4, and need a function whereby when a check is opened a membership card can be swiped and the data on track 2 inserted as a reference entry under a tender media or menu item.
I've created a £0.00 menu item, added a button and set the Menu Item Class to require a reference entry prompt - that bit all works well.
When I swipe the card, however, it draws a blank and the data isn't inserted. If I use a spare USB card swiper that I have, it inserts just fine.
I opened up the diagnostics program on my WS6, and swiped the card with the built-in mag stripe reader, and the correct data is displayed on track 2, but if I swipe the card in Notepad nothing comes up.
Am I missing something?
