simpely tell me why can't use command button?

in the access 2000 form, when i use the command wizard to make delete button, but it doesn't work. does anybody can tell me why?
How can i do 'delete' in the simple way?

What are you trying to delete?

Is your custome delete button on a main form and the record to be delete on a subform? If so you will need to set the focus to the subform first. Then delete.

SubformName.SetFocus
