Simon desktopview for SECC 4.2 1

Hi all

This question is directed to all Symposium Express 4.2 users.

Our company purchased SECC 4.2 in the summer of 2006.

Recently, it has come to my knowledge that during some point of SECC 4.2's shelf-life a Symon real time display application (a third party add on program similar to the GRTD) was offered with the product. Can anyone verify this? The vendor that we are currently working with did not supply us with any such Symon programs.

Yes, it did come packaged with SECC at some point. However, that is not the case anymore. Symon had written a "light" program that was packaged for free with SECC. Their purpose was to engage the interest of the customer, and they hoped to sell the full-featured product. Development on it stopped when W2K came out, and it is no longer offered.
