sime routing with PIX 520 Firewall?

im running IOS 4.2 on my 520 pix firewall as part of my home study kit, will it be difficult to get the software for the latest version?. all i see on the cisco site is access denied, or this product is no longer supported.

Finally, are their significant benifits to the ugrade, and will it effect my 1024 connection license?
