I just ordered some new SIM2 power supplies and the Mitel vendor sent 15VDC universal power supplies pn 50005302. My old power supply says 12VAC and so does the SIM card. Does the 15VDC supply replace the 12VAC?
Thank you.
Watch out what you pay for them. These are becoming scarce and so are starting to fetch something of a premium from those who have them. Be careful too where you plug them into the phone. On the SS4150 you do not plug the power into the SIM2 module itself, but on the SS4025 you do (because there's no other connector available).
I called Mitel and they said this (50005302) is what they were shipping with the SIM's now. So I connected one to a SIM that I have in the phone next to me and it does work. The only thing I can think of is they have designed the SIM to run off of AC or DC power. Thanks for the responses.
