I just responded to an inquiry on how to keyboard a field search. (Ctrl +z for the initial return, Ctrl +A for subsequent returns.)(to select the entire contents of a field, on the other hand, ctrl +f)
It occurs to me that every now and then I stumble on something simple that I consider truly amazing (one of simple pleasures, I), and I suspect there are a number of tricks out there.
The most recent epiphany was that the scroll on a mouse will leaf through records. This I consider amazing.
Almost as good is the fact that you can enter repeat information using Ctrl +D, which I keep finding out when I try to delete a record (Ctro +Delete ---little difference)
Of course most of you know these things, but I am sure there is a soul or two who will be edified...
Also a recent gain is the realization that Alt +Backspace (this is very clearly explained in some footnote of some back page) will undo any messing up you do to any record.
Then there's the spacebar for filling out dates, but that's pretty pedestrian.
So. Share.
