Hi,

I am just starting out with Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6 and just do not find any button to get the line numbers of my code on display. Debugging is awkward without (that is with only the cursor position showing in the bottom left corner). What I want is to see the line numbers together with the code.

Having used Salford FTN95 before, there it was no problem. But with this one here I searched my head off and did not find any Editor Setting options.

Anybody able to remove the tomatoes from my eyes ?

Thanks in advance

Norbert

Okay, boys and girls,

maybe it was not the most catching headline, but ...

Is there anybody out there using Compaq VF ?

Would appreciate any comment.

I use Silverfrost (Salford) and g95. If Compaq VF is the same as MS Visual Studio 6, you can't display line numbers, other than, as you said in the status bar.

Thanks,

at least i am not feeling that stupid any more.
