Hello all,

I have a simple Outlook question. I would like to know if it possible to put a shortcut that creates a new e-mail, in the Office shortcutbar on my desktop? So that when I click on it, it'll pop up a new e-mail message.

Thanks

Magnus

Without looking at the article above, I think if you add 'mail.oft' which is in the program files/microsoft office/templates directory to the shortcut bar, it will do what you want.

It is the form for a standard email.

You can also do this with the various other types of outlook forms (contacts etc).
