Here in this quiet village at midnight I try to figure out why my premier 6.5 program "real time" playback timeline advances like a drunk at a silent erratic shuffle instead of a smooth roll -- unless I hit Preview first. Why can I only play either source audio clips in the clip window or source video clips(jerky too)in clip or source window and not both source audio and video together? It should not be system power as I have a gig of memory, a fast processor and a generour hard drive. Maybe I should have stuck with analog editing systems and llamas instead?
