Has anyone created a basic site for a silent auction? If someone has a template I could use I woulsd greatly appreciate it.

I am going to be holding one at work for some misc. computer equipment and would like to create some sort of site that allows the user to enter in their name, and bid amount. The page would keep track of the bidders name as well as their bid. I just need something extremely basic. I am not worried about error correcting. I just want to the bidders to see what is available and the current bid for that product.

The page will list each bidders name and their bid as they entered.

Any help is appreciated.

There's not much we can help you here at HTML&CSS forum except for helping you create a form. All else you would need do with whatever server-side language you have available. I suggest you ask at the forum for that specific language.

hmmm, basic? If you don't want to set up a database, you could consider Flyspeck or something similar. Rough and ready, but it could work.
