Silence/Mute Incoming Call

Is there a way to mute/silence the ringer on an incoming call (M7310)? If we are busy we do not answer the phone but it comtinues to ring, is there a button we can push to silence the ringer but not actually hang up on the person?

Also, how do I change the amount of rings? For external calls the phone only rings twice, we would like it to ring 4.

You can turn off the ringer with Do Not Disturb F85. Be aware it affects how calls are processed based on other settings such as forward on busy.

Rings before answer (I assume you mean your voice mail system) is adjusted in the voice mail LINES set up. F983, Voice mail admin password is required, AA, LINES. Again be aware adjustments here may affect other services such as call forwarding to voice mail.
