Signon not working with Java sdk - Apache and LDAP

Hi all..

I am stuck up with an issue where i am using Apache webserver and there is a company server for login which validates with a LDAP server.. Scott has mentioned in one of the replies that we can use the REMOTE_USER variable inorder to validate with the cognos.. but i am not able to get the implemntation working.. can you please suggest a work around since i am working with sdk in java.. i am not able to perform single-sign on to server bcause of that..
