Signon Manager error "Cannot open the application with stored signon information"

Hi all,

I have a custom application that logs into current user's Sage 300 session. It works when logged in as "ADMIN". When logged in as an user, which is set up as Windows Authentication, it comes back with an error message. "Cannot open the application with stored signon information: Password change is required. Please try signing on again."

What does that tell me?

You can't use Windows authentication, you need a regular ID and password.

However, I can log on using Windows Authentication in dev environment. I am not sure what could be missing.

Then that user might need to be set up as "Both", not just Windows.
