Hi!

I've been approached by a company thats offered me a word that i could register with them for £250 a year ... and promised 1200 hits a year on my website through that registered word.

Is it worth doing this ... or are there other ways that i can get hits on my webite?

Thanks

Julie

Are the hits going to even be "good" hits that are related to what it is you are selling or trying to pass along? getting 100 hits of people actually out looking for your product in a day is better then getting just 1200 hits.

... they just offered me the option of the word workwear .... which is what the site offers ... ! Is that the way to get your site registered then?

Hi Julie,

Who is the company?

As onpnt mentioned, the number of hits are not the issue, the quality of hits are.

Considering 1200 hits is approx 23 hits a week, this seems totally pointless and your money could be spent better elsewhere.

Hope this helps Wullie

id say do it yourself, do some research, i just got done researching and submitted manually, they are getting good rating and hits, and it save the company a whole lotta $$$, it seemed to me that the search engine submittal companies were pointless
