I´m developing some activeX components form my intranet, and was wanted to know how to sign them withou paying verisign.

I know that an applet can be signed by an untrusted source using jarsigner, and since It wont be used by anyone outside the company, I don´t care if the signature is untrusted.

Al I want is for the anoying warnings to go away.

You can sign the activex control with a test certificate but you are still going to get the warnings since Internet Explorer verifies the certificate. Remember, there are three checks performed on a certificate to avoid the warnings.
